Service Providers from across Greater Wichita will organize our ongoing Community of Practice at the next meet-up, scheduled for Tuesday, August 20th, 2:00 - 3:30 pm at the Evergreen Library. We will discuss plans for ongoing meet-ups including structure, communication, and a mission statement to define and guide our shared purpose.
Each service provider is invited to bring a stack of simple cards or brochures to each meet-up for a shared resource table.
There will be a designated topic for each meet-up that will be announced in advance. On August 20th, the group will decide on the topics for September - November, and ask two organizations to sign up to co-host each of these meet-ups with Wichita Recovery Hub. Signing up to co-host means providing (as possible):
* A representative to give a 5-minute overview of your organization +Q&A
* Representatives to help with room set-up, door greeting, and general support of the meet-up.
* A display for the welcome table with more information about your organization
* Recommendations for a topic expert to give a 5-minute talk on the topic and how Wichita is responding
* Help to come up with Brainstorming and Table Discussion questions and facilitation, if interested.
